NADCA certification standards
We follow the NADCA source-removal standard: negative pressure, mechanical agitation, HEPA extraction, and verification. That sequence is what separates a real mold cleaning from a surface wipe-down. Every technician on our crew is trained to that standard.
IICRC mold remediation protocol
Our IICRC certification guides how we contain the work area, handle contaminated materials, and verify that the job is complete. We treat mold in ductwork the same way we would treat mold on a wall: remove the source, not just the visible growth.
EPA-registered sanitizing fog
After mechanical cleaning, we apply a fog through the plenum and each register. It reaches surfaces the brush cannot touch. The product is EPA-registered and safe for kids and pets once dry, usually within 30 minutes.
Mastic sealing on all connections
We seal every flexible duct connection and trunk joint with mastic, not just foil tape. Tape fails in a few seasons, especially in a humid Galloway crawlspace. Mastic keeps humid air out of the system, which is what feeds mold.
Post-service camera verification
We re-scan the trunk and at least two branch lines after cleaning. If we see remaining growth, we clean it again before we pack up. You get the before-and-after footage in a written summary.
